Type 1, 2, 3 Barricades
- What is the material? Barricade frames or legs are either made of rigid, impact resistant plastic or steel. While steel is known to be sturdy, plastic is lightweight and easy to handle, assemble and store but also still strong enough to withstand harsh weather conditions. Panels are all made of durable plastic.
- What are your panel reflectivity options? The orange and white sheeting for barricade panels are available as engineer-grade reflective or high intensity prismatic. Both are highly visible either during the day or night- from a distance of 500 ft for engineer-grade reflective and 1,000 ft for high intensity.
- Do both sides of the barricades have reflective sheeting? Type 1 and Type 2 barricades always have reflective sheets on two sides. For Type 3, Seton provides you the choice of having one or both sides of panels to come with reflective sheeting. Reflective sheets on two sides make your traffic barricades more visible and safer.
- What about size? Seton’s Type 1 and 2 barricades have panels that are 2ft in size while Type 3 barricade panels are 6ft and 8ft. Larger panels are more visible.
